LingoMix Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how your personal data is collected, used, and protected in connection with the LingoMix mobile application (“App”) and the associated website. By using the App or our website, you agree to the terms of this policy.

2.2 Gameplay and Usage Data

• In-game moves, letter tile placements, and board states
• Match scores, gameplay statistics, win/loss records
• Sent/received game invitations, lobby, and friend list entries
• Dictionary search history and word verification records

2.3 Technical Data

2.4 Analytical Data

Through tools such as Google Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics:

• Frequency of play and session durations
• In-game feature usage rates
• Crash logs and technical performance reports

3. HOW WE COLLECT DATA

We collect data:

• Automatically in the background during App usage,
• Through manual input when creating a profile or playing the game,
• Via third-party login services (Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In).

4. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING DATA

We process the collected data for the following purposes:

• To provide LingoMix gameplay and handle player matchmaking,
• To run the asynchronous multiplayer (PvP) mode and manage friend invites,
• To optimize the solo game mode against our AI opponent, LingoBot,
• To improve user experience and debug technical errors/crashes,
• To provide customer service and technical support,
• To fulfill legal obligations.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND DATA SHARING

We never sell your personal information. To keep the game running, we utilize the following secure services:

• Apple and Google Sign-in: Authentication is handled by these services, and we only receive essential basic profile details.
• Firebase & Google Cloud: Your data is hosted on secure cloud servers for data storage (Firestore), authentication, and push notifications.
• Firebase Crashlytics & Analytics: Used to analyze app crashes and usage statistics anonymously.

6. DATA RETENTION AND ACCOUNT DELETION

Your data is stored on secure servers and is kept as long as your account remains active or for the legal periods required to provide the service.

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time:

• In the App, navigate to the **Settings** screen and tap **"Delete Account"** to instantly and permanently erase your account, email, and match history from our Firebase servers.
• Alternatively, you can email your deletion request directly to support@lingomix.net.

7. YOUR RIGHTS UNDER GDPR

Users residing in the European Union (EU) have the following rights under the GDPR:

• Right of access and data portability,
• Right to rectification and erasure (right to be forgotten),
• Right to restrict processing or object to processing,
• Right to withdraw consent at any time.

8. DATA SECURITY

LingoMix takes industry-standard measures to protect your data, including SSL/HTTPS encryption, unauthorized access prevention, and secure database storage. However, no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

LingoMix does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 (or the legal threshold defined by local laws). If we discover such collection, we will erase the data from our servers immediately.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The updated version becomes effective immediately upon publication in the App or on our website.
